Masonry Services

At Sundance Masonry, there is no job too big or too small. We’ve made great improvements on small private homes, built large custom homes, and we’ve constructed commercial properties such as office buildings, restaurants, and sports stadiums. We’ve restored failing structures, remodeled young homes, and we’ve built at new construction sites. We create new projects, or match newly constructed masonry to existing stonework for seamless transitions between old structures and new additions.
All of our work here in the southern Colorado region is protected by the Sundance Masonry Warranty on materials and construction for one year.

What To Expect From Start to Finish
We want you to know just what to expect before you hire us. From your first phone call to our friendly office staff, to the moment when we finish cleaning up the worksite, when you choose to work with Sundance Masonry, there are no surprises.
Owners Greg and Kate Manke personally lead their team to ensure that each and every client is treated with friendliness and respect, and is left satisfied after every interaction with our team.
How It All Begins…Pick up the phone today and call us at 719-528-1243. We’ll ask you a few questions to get to know what you have in mind, and we’ll answer any questions you may have about us. Then, we’ll set up a convenient time for owner Greg Manke to come to your home or business to personally see the worksite and discuss your options for design and materials. Would you like natural stone? Brick? Eldorado Stone™? Stucco? A new outdoor fireplace, or just restoration of some old stone steps? Whatever your needs – we’ll figure it out together.
The Fun Stuff Starts Right Away… Designing Your Project! Before we send you an estimate, it’s time to have some fun with the design for your project. Greg will work closely with you to create sketches of the work and select the right of type of materials for the job. Part of our service is to give you our most creative ideas, then let you decide which work best for your family, your business, and your budget.
Putting Your Proposal In Writing…Within 2 business days of your consultation you’ll receive a proposal from us outlining the design, materials, cost, and estimated time for the completion of your project.
You Like What You See…You’ve read our customer testimonials, you’ve checked our references, and you’ve compared us to the competition. We’re confident you’ll like what you see in Sundance Masonry. If you agree, simply call us to finalize the plans for construction on your masonry project.
No Down Payment…That’s right. At Sundance Masonry, your faith in our integrity is important to us, so we don’t ask for any money before the work begins. You have our word that the job will be done right and on time. Only when the work is complete will we be paid. To get work started, you only need to sign and return your estimate. (In cases where projects are expected to take many months to complete, or unusual materials are being special-ordered, we may ask for installments as specific stages of work are completed.)
More of The Fun Stuff…We will not begin construction until you are completely satisfied with and committed to your design. You’ll receive our utmost attention while we figure out the details, and we’ll keep working on it until you’re happy. And if you want to change something after the work has started, we can easily make changes to your proposal so everything is built to your exact specifications. We only want to build a project that you’re going to love!
Setting Just The Right Time…Now that you’ve signed your proposal and finalized your design, we schedule a date to get started. This date depends on a few factors – your preferences, our schedule of other projects, and the delivery of materials, which we’ll order as soon as the design is finalized.
Sit Back and Let It Happen…This is where we get to have our fun. We come to your home or business and get down to making your vision a reality while you relax and enjoy the process. With Sundance Masonry, you will never have to worry if we’ll show up – we will not only show up each day, but we’ll be on time and prepared to make significant progress.
Each day that we’re on site, we keep your property clean and organized. Right down to the last chisel, our tools and equipment will always be left organized at the end of the day. Indoor areas will be protected with floor to ceiling plastic sheets to keep dust from traveling, and you’ll never see our work trucks parked in your driveway. Our loyal staff will always be professional and respectful of you and your property, and safety is an integral part of our company culture.
We’re Always Available For You…While we’re working, if you have any questions about our progress, just ask! We’ll be happy to walk you through the process.
The Finishing Touches…Now that the project is complete, we’ve cleaned up all the tools and dust, and you’re smiling from ear to ear, we can wrap up all the paperwork and have you sign off on the project.
Lasting Peace of Mind With The Sundance Masonry Warranty…For the next year, our warranty will be in effect – any defects in our craftsmanship or materials will be corrected within days of your letting us know – or we’ll pay for it. Your happiness with our work is the best measure of success we know, and we’ll go the extra mile to ensure it.

You can choose from a limitless variety of materials and know how to best combine them to achieve your unique design. There are 5 primary categories of materials we use on a regular basis:
* Stone * Brick * Block * Stucco * Precast *
Stone
There are no limits to the types of stone we have access to: Limestone, Basalt, Slate, all types of Flagstone, Natural and Manufactured Stones, Stone Pavers, River Rock….Anything you can imagine, in a vast number of finishes and colors, can be brought to your doorstep. Our local and global suppliers are truly the best at ensuring that Sundance Masonry receives only the finest stone materials to use in your project. Visit our “Photos” page to see samples of our stonework!
Brick
Our brickwork on walls, floors, columns, fences, fireplaces (and more!) can be laid in an array of patterns – just ask Greg for his most creative ideas! We’ve built new construction with “reclaimed” brick that came to us from old buildings. We use embossed bricks with patterns on their faces. Bricks come in a variety of colors and texture, and we even work with thin “veneer” brick, which can be used just like regular bricks for most projects. Add in the options for your mortar colors, and you will be thrilled to have a truly unique project built to your exact specifications.
Block
Concrete blocks are generally used as the main structural element in commercial properties. We work with blocks to build structures, then put a façade on those concrete blocks with any combination of our stone, brick, stucco, or precast options to make your project look exactly like you want it to.
Stucco
Did you know that stucco could be placed over existing brick, block, or siding? It is typically used for exterior surfaces, but has had some popularity for indoor wall finishes over the years. Stucco is available in an array of colors, and is attractive and easy to maintain. We use standard, acrylic, or synthetic stucco, and with our expertise we’ll help you to make just the right choice for your home or business. Using the industry’s best practices for stucco application, we apply it to protect the structural integrity of the building from the elements, especially water damage.
Precast
Precast concrete is a mold that is factory built, and brought to your worksite when it’s ready to be installed. While a “mold” may sound simplistic, installing precast with pins and glue is a technical effort, and takes an experienced professional. Precast molds are used in projects such as fireplace mantels, surrounds and hearths, retaining walls, railings and balustrades, ornamented archways and decorative accents. Using methods such as sandblasting and chemical treatments, precast has varying finishes, so you can choose to combine it with many other building materials and still have a great match. With long life and strong durability, precast concrete offers limitless choices – the designs can even be customized, so your project will be unique for your home or business.
